Huskee 350 lb. Lawn Mower Lift is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 30.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work for many garden tractors Many garden tractors have frame extensions for front attachments. Mine is a popular brand. These extensions are pretty low and run straight into the tube that holds the wheel brackets on the lift. You need about 7" of clearance to get over the lift. The lift itself is well built, and lifts pretty smoothly. Best of all it collapses down and can be hung on the wall for storage. Before buying though, measure your ground clearance at the tractor frame's lowest point in front, and the clearance under the mower deck. These are the two spots that could run into the lift. I had to return mine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job It does what it says. Built sturdy. Looks like it will last. To make raising the mower easier, I got a corded electric drill of 7 amps. An impact wrench will work but shearing the cotter pin (protection for weights over limit) is likely. The lift is heavy, 50 lbs, with no wheels or rollers. I plan to use it often.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Do Not Purchase Unless Superman Purchased few weeks ago unable to raise the lawnmower the handle to raise and lower does not supply enough length for leverage to raise the weight even tried using air gun to raise it and with weight on it raising it is impossible.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke on first use.... Picked one up today to use with my Craftsman 2000 riding mower. The first difficulty was that the brackets on the front axel that stabilize the mowing deck would not clear the high point on the jack: I had to lift the mower slightly to get it onto the wheel brackets. Started cranking (by hand) and heard/felt an snap - thought is was a shear pin in the socket that the hand crank fits into (there are two spare shear pins, just in case...) but the jack screw was still turning. My only conclusion was that some gear/tooth sheared or broke, as the screw would turn, build some resistance, then 'skip' and nothing would move. Returned to TSC without issue.

My husband has a 30 inch Troy built riding mower. Would this lift work as well considering his mower is not as big as most mowers?

Asked by: Kristie3
This Huskee lift will operate perfectly with your unit.

will this lift work for a troy bilt super bronco 50 inch 24 h.p.

Asked by: 02dawgs
We recommend only using the mower lift for mowers that are less than 350lbs front end weight and properly fits in the provided wheel pads. (ie. 10” to 17” diameter and with an inside to outside wheel measurements of 17” to 43.5”). Do not exceed the lifting capacity of 350 lbs, front end weight.

is it hard to crank up and does it have locking device

Asked by: barry47
It is not difficult to raise, you simply need to twist the crank handle. It is suggested that you play with the crank handle to familiarize yourself with the lifting process before putting a tractor on it. This lift also has a safety bar at the bottom.

What size and type bit do you use in a half inch drill to raise and lower the lift instead of cranking it?

Asked by: Montani
To use a drill, it will require a 3/8 square driver. This information can also be found on step 10 of the operating instructions.
