Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huskee 208 cc, 24 in. snow blower with elect. star I purchased a Huskee snow blower from Tractor Supply because my single stage blower couldn't handle wet/heavy snow. My new Huskee 24 in. 2-stage snow blower easily handles the heavy snow and eats up the piles left by the city plow trucks. Now it's easy for me to keep the handicapped accessible sidewalks clear and usable. The Powermore 208 cc engine starts easily with the 120 volt electric starter or with 2 pulls on the starter rope. The Huskee 24 in. 2-stage snow blower is a real work saver.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to start. I bought about 2 weeks ago. I haven't even tried the electric start but it easily pull starts even at -13. I was able to clear my very large driveway of 2ft of snow. It was even able to move snow that we've been piling up all winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Machine Wish I had bought a month sooner, does a great job moving the snow. I will probably purchase chains for better traction.

Is this okay on gravel or only paved drives?

Asked by: Yes maybe
It is fine on gravel as long as the shoes (on the sides) are adjusted to lift the housing.

would this engine under horsepower b close to a 5hp or 7 hp

Asked by: supersal
Small engines, per regulation, are not rated in horse power any longer. CC is the size of the engine, and what is currently used. An engines CC , amount of displacement, has horse power ranges that are determined by carburation, cam, exhaust and timing. There are no formula’s for converting CC to horse power.

Is there a air Filter on my snow blower

Asked by: Kenneths
No, most snow blower engines do not have air filters. The snowfall removes dust particles from the air, so it is simply not needed.
