Rated 1 out of 5 by from As useful as Ann Frank's drum kit This item, along with the cheap Hobart welding helmets use plastic studs and plastic nuts to adjust the tension between the headband and the helmet. These studs are way undersized. The threads strip way before enough tension is applied keep the helmet in the up position. I can't imagine a scenario in which this puny setup would be the slightest bit useful. You are better off getting a fixed headband and just taking off the helmet.
