Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really good for the Price Have been using this around the ranch and it has worked out well. At first i had trouble with wire feeding but found out i was using the wrong type of wire. Have welding H posts for fence that are 2 3/8” and 1/4” thick with no problem. The welds have held up good even after streching heavy fence from it with a come along.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent welder I bought this a few months ago now, and am very pleased. I had the Chicago 90 amp welder before, and bought this as a upgrade. The Chicago was ok , but the Hobart so much better and less splatter. I sold the Chicago immediately. Have done a few projects with it, and so far love it.

I would like to weld a jack onto the tongue of a 10 ft disc. Would I be able to weld the jack onto the tongue which is about 1/2" to 3/4" thick steel.

Asked by: rao1811
The Toolmate 100 would be too small for this application.

I just opened the box and it seems that the welding tip and gun are pre assembled. Is this common, as the instructions tell you how to assemble it? Also, how many tips come with it? I have a .30 attached and two spare .30 tips. No .35 tips, however.

Asked by: New guy
The gun does come assembled and it will only include two .030 tips, no .035 tips.
