Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked as planned worked well in good soil, not so good in rocky soil.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I live in Arizona and stake my trees with these. The soil in AZ is rock hard. These screw into the soil with very little effort using a pry bar or pipe. Excellent product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Well made and works exactly as it's supposed to. Used a pry bar to turn them into the ground, without having to put much downward force on them at all. Used them to anchor a trampoline. Very pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as designed The previous reviewer has not used these style ground anchors much. This works exactly as designed, and works well. They are meant to be put into the ground with a little force behind them as any increase in the angle would result in moving into the soil too quickly. The best way to put these in is to put a crow bar in the eye and push down while twisting. Once it is about half way in, you can just continue turning as there will be enough compacted soil to continue to drill in. I use these growing hops and in securing the runner wires. They are good for a couple hundred pounds of pull, but not too much more.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from VERY POOR PRODUCT The pitch on the auger is wrong. It does not dig, but will skim dirt and bring it to the top. Didn't work in dry clay or wet clay, dry soil or wet soil, rocks or no rocks. I ended up pounding with sledge twist a bit, pound and twist. Poured concrete around it since I had the mix. Very disappointed
