Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Lawn is looking greener and growing fast. I would recommend this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hard. Must be wet I bought two bags on May 14th and I purposefully bought the lawn starter which was next to the spreaders because I wanted to use it in my spreader which meant it had to flow. I was wrong. This product must have been wet. Even though the bags seemed intact, it was hard, clumpy, seemed moist, and did not work in my spreader even after trying to break up the clumps and hard chunks. For a product being sold in the store and inside, and at full price, I am very unhappy with this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unusuable I bought this yesterday and it was completely solidified in the bag. I wish I had taken a look at the reviews before I purchased. Last time I buy from Tractor Supply.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wet Fertilizer I bought a bag today and had to throw it out because it was wet and clumpy. I couldn’t run it through my spreader. I wasted money on this product

Rated 1 out of 5 by from EXTREMELY WET and CLUMPY.....JUNK! I bought 2 bags yesterday as I'm starting a new lawn. The product in both bags is very wet and clumpy. Fertilizer must be dry or a broadcast spreader will not be able to apply the product. The plastic bag is obviously not waterproof, and TSC must be storing this outside without any cover. Purchased at the Bowling Green, Ohio store, although the reviews don't all indicate store locations. My guess is that this is a corporate issue. I am returning this poorly packaged and managed product, and will purchase Scotts brand somewhere else. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Waiting on results too early to tell Store should keep dry so there is a lot less waste

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wet Product This is the second time I've purchase this product and it has been wet while in the bag. Unable to be spread so I returned for a refund.
Date published: 2018-04-19
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your time or money!! The bags were wet and partially solidified. It would not feed into a broadcast spreader. Even after filtering out the clumps the remainder was so wet it clogged the holes in the spreader. I made it through one bag and returned the other four. I have checked this product out at three different stores it is all unfit to sell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Products I purchased the starter fertilizer because the analysis 18-24-6 is a good analysis spread. This stuff worked like a champ. I would and will but this again. The entire product line looks good. Weed and feed uses Trimec. Slow release summer fertilizer and so on. Go online and look up Ground Work plan. I think for an average homeowner this plan would work well. And this price point is pretty decent as well. I would recommend this to a friend and I have.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wet and clumpy I bought this for the second time yesterday. The first time was last Fall and it was really wet and clumped together but my lawn greened up nicely after breaking up all the fertilizer. I assumed the time this was because the fertilizer was stored outside of the store. This time the bags were inside the store but when I opened it today there were huge chunks of fertilizer in it and it was again very wet and it clogged up my pull behind spreader despite spending time breaking up the big chunks. I had to open the feed rate all the way up on my spreader to let the big chunks go through which wasted a lot of the fertilizer that wasn't stuck together. Never again will I buy this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Soaking Wet. Not usable I bought this product inside the stole about two weeks ago. I open the bag today and the product is soaking wet. Similar to wet sand at the beach. Product would not go through my broadcast spreader. Buyer beware.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greener Than Green I layed my sod late last fall of 2015 and used a mild fertilizer for winter. This spring in late april i applied this as suggested and i can say my grass is now healthy and the root system is established. This fertilizer took my lawn from average to the thickest green grass in the neighborhood. I recommend this to any new home buyer and to follow the correct watering cyles for perfectly green lawn. This stuff is the best!
