Rated 2 out of 5 by from Where are the instructions? I am not a professional tree guy. I bought this pruner in hope of tidying up the trees around our property. No instructions on how to use this product which greatly frustrated me. I am going to take it back to the TSC store where I purchased it and hope someone there can show me how to use it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from started out well... We live in Arizona and have several big palms on the property. We thought this would be good to trim the big frons. It worked well, but really ate up the blades. We are having a time trying to get replacement blades. The Tractor Supply Store doesn't carry them. Someone in Q&A mentioned calling parts at 1-888-376-9601. I tried that, and the only SKU # was for the whole assembly. The guy (in India?) I talked to wanted a SKU # for the blade. There isn't any! Now he is calling the manufacturer who at some point will call me! Ugh! I can't believe that you can't buy or order new blades for this thing! Very disappointing!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Didn't come with assembly instructions It works well enough. The belt makes me uncomfortable, though, since if (when?) it snaps, it doesn't look like it'll be replaceable. So, I only use the lopper portion for very small branches I know it will be able to cut easily. Another gripe was that there were absolutely no assembly instructions whatsoever included in the package. I just opened the clamshell part to find the saw separate from the rest of the assembly and nothing else inside the carboard. Sure, they're on this webpage as a PDF, but not everyone thinks to go online, or even can, yes, even in this day and age. Mine differed a little from the instructions in that there was a bolt, and not a wing nut, that had to be removed and replaced. I needed a 5mm hex key, and an adjustable wrench to tighten the saw into place.

Can the pole saw blade be replaced and where can you purchase one at?

Asked by: Regene
No, the pole is not available for purchase.
Answered by: Valery
Date published: 2017-08-14

how is the cutter operated?, is it only through the slide handle halfway up the pole? or is there a puller at the bottom of the pole?, what is the max cutting reach by the lopper?, Thanks.

Asked by: ikey
The side handle is the only way to activate the blade. The fully extended length is 9 feet. It does go past that but you cannot cut a branch higher than 9 feet.
