GroundWork Poison Ivy & Brush Killer Concentrate, 32 oz., 8791227 is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked for me Mixed as directed, I also added a surfactant(4-6 drops dawn dishwashing liquid per gal. mixed). Worked on poison ivy and oak, as well as dandelion , queen Ann's lace, and every broad leaf plant I tried it on. Not made for grass. I noticed no effect on any grass that I may have inadvertantly sprayed. It's possible that adding a surfactant is a key component.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great for some vines... It has been three weeks after treating the area twice two days apart and the only thing fully dead is grape vines and poison ivy... This product isn't much of a brush killer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Know what you are purchasing. I am a landscape business owner. This products main ingredient is 2-4d which will kill everything except grass and grassy weeds. If you need to kill grassy weeds mixed with other weeds you need a product that's main ingredient is glyphosate. That's the main ingredient that's in round up. This product will work but there are better ones at tractor supply. You just have to mix it properly. Maybe a little more than recommended and know what this product is tagets.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Total waste of mone. Thought this product would at least kill simple weeds in and along driveway as it'supposed to kill stronger, tougher bush, not so. Barely made them sick, did not kill anything, even poison ivy. Less than one star.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Groundwork not an option I am disappointed in this product. It works on Poison Ivy and that's about it. Brush Killer should be removed from the product label. Don't waste your money and time here. Spend a bit more for the name brand and walk on by this knockoff.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pretty weak Used this on grass and brush, 6 days no rain. Now it's almost 2 weeks later and all it's done is killed grass and wilted VERY LITTLE of any brush. Compared to RoundUp it's weak and takes a lot longer. I even attempted to mix it stronger with no luck. Doesn't seem to penetrate to the roots very good as some of the grass was brown but still showed signs of green and was starting to grow a bit. Conclusion: Try something else.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Forget it No shame roundup poison ivy didn't work either on my low lying brush and vines in GA. I soaked the vegetation with an ATV sprayer and no rain for 5 days did nothing. I'm going to try roundup promax which is 50% gylco hopefully that will work.

will this kill bamboo

Asked by: dragon2020
Bamboo is a tough one to get. The only thing I would recommend is a glyphosate product like GW Brush Killer 32.3%. It most likely will take multiple applications over a couple of seasons to get this invasive plant.

Can Brush Killer be applied within the dripline of large mature hardwood and young trees (3" dia Dogwood and Birch)? Trying to kill about a quarter-acre of trumpet creeper, english ivy, poison ivy, honeysuckle and small shrubs without killing the trees.

Asked by: Stan W
This product can be used under existing trees. Be very careful to not get any drift or overspray on the trunk or exposed roots of the existing trees.
