GroundWork Crabgrass & Broadleaf Weed Killer Concentrate, 32 oz. is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from it works and is not expensive I surfed the net for a post-emergent crabgrass killer and finally found info on the main chemical in this product. I went to TSC store intending to buy the brand name and was very happy to find they have their own brand, with the exact same ingredients, at about half the price. It's a concentrate so you get a lot for your nine bucks. I waited too long so I had so many crabgrass patches that I missed some on the first round and had to respray. I waited two or three days to be able to tell where I missed since the reviews indicate it takes that long for the weed to show signs of dying. Now that I know about this product, I won't wait so long this time. I did apply it before the sun was beating down on the lawn since most weed killers say if the product is dried to fast by the sun, the weed hasn't been able to absorb it properly and will not die. I do apply crabgrass preventer granules in the early spring but the product I used this year was from the year before and I suspect some of the effectiveness had weakened. From now on I will buy only smaller bags, just enough for that year's application, so they aren't sitting around getting old.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3rd day Seems to be making the tips turn yellow on the 3rd day. Maybe I treat it again in a few weeks if needed and try to get the grass to over take it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tried Them All I’ve tried almost every kind of crabgrass killer for residential use to stop it from further taking over my centipede and St. Augustine and finally something that worked. It probably killed some of both grasses too, and it burnt the leaves on what survived, but where it killed the crabgrass the grass grew back in the 6 weeks levy in the growing season. Now I can spot treat as it cones back in the spring.

Is this product safe to use on centipede grass? I cut my centipede short, 1-1/2". It was seeded 20 years ago but weeds are taking over this year. #2 Is there a higher concentrate bottle? I have 15k SF

Asked by: Dennis Weed Control
The GW Crabgrass Weed Killer Concentrate is not labeled for use on centipede grass. The Trimec Lawn Weed Killer and GW Concentrate weed Killer are the only product of ours TSC carries that can be used on a centipede lawn.
