Rated 5 out of 5 by from Controls weeds and Promotes grass growth I apply this product on my five acer yard every time I mow. It controls the unwanted weeds, grass burrs and other unwanted vegetation while allowing the grass to flourish. I have been using this product for the last two years and now have five acers of grass instead of unwanted weeds and burrs.

whats the difference between this product and the LV400 2,4D. Also how long after using before I can put dogs back out in Kennel?

Asked by: luckylady1
They are different formulations of 2,4-d. Amine 400 works better in temperatures from 65-85 degrees. LV 400 works best in temperatures from 55-75 degrees. If using in a dog kennel, let the application dry before allowing the dogs to return.

I have some weeds that is beside my drive way that are as big around as you thumb. I try round up & that doesn't seem to killed them off. Will this work on that? Do I have to mix it with water or can I just spray it right out the contacter?

Asked by: ourmustamgs
Amine 400 will control many broadleaf weeds like dandelion and thistles. Some weeds are more difficult and may need a different product. Contact our product support line 800-884-3179 for more assistance as we are unable to identify the weed you are trying to control from your description.

Is mid June too late to apply this product? I have a lot of ivy vines that I want gone from by yard, will this product get rid of them as well?

Asked by: FCLE
Amine 400 can be used this time of year as long as you are not spraying in temperatures over 85 degrees. Weed control may not be as effective this time of year. Spring and fall applications are most effective as weeds are more susceptible at those times.

Amine 400 should only be used on a bermuda lawn that is either fully dormant or fully green and growing. Avoid applying herbicides during the spring green up as the new growth is tender and can be injured.
