Durvet Dura-Pen Penicillin, 100 mL is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Miracle appetite stimulator I used it on my cat who was severely anemic, thought he was going to die, and had no energy. After two small doses, his appetite in creased with a vengeance. I know it had an important affect on him.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good to Have on Hand All horse owners should keep injectable penicillin on hand. Most horse vets will have you administer to your horse in case of cuts or minor infections, so the medicine can start working while you are waiting for your vet appointment. Always call your vet first! A drawback to large size, multi-dose containers - the stopper loses its air-tight seal with multiple punctures to draw doses, leading to potential contamination.

Can it be used for pink eyes in calfs

Asked by: Vicky shemwell
I would advise that they NOT use penicillin injectable in treating pinkeye. However, Duramycin 72-200 does have treatment of pinkeye on the label

I have a 800lb beef cow with a cut. Can I give more than 2 injections? Infection is still visible.

Asked by: Shaun wilson
Treatment with dual action penicillin should be limited to a total of 2 doses given SQ and should not be used in lactating dairy cattle. A subsequent does can be given in 48 hours if it is still needed. Please contact your local vet if you think a higher does is needed.
