Rated 3 out of 5 by from Weight gain without the crazy! I have had my thoroughbred on this for 8 years. I add it to his custom feed I make myself, and this helps keep weight on and is highly digestable and palatable. Great for horses with weight issues to add protein but not make them "hot".

Is this product guaranteed to have LIVE microorganisms up until the expiration date? Or only when first packaged? I want to make sure that the probiotics are not dead after waiting at the store on the shelf. Thank you!

Asked by: Hollywood123
The product does not have an expiration date printed on it. The product is formulated to anticipate some loss of live organisms over time. It is expected that the organisms will be present for up to 9 months. Exact timing can vary due to variable storage conditions.

My robotics turned yellow before the expiration date. Is it still good? How should it be stored?

Asked by: ymgb
With products that are made to be water soluble/dispersible, the ingredients will be hydroscopic (meaning they will absorb moisture). In some cases, when the ingredients absorb moisture, the can discolor a bit. The yellowish color is not anything to be alarmed about. The product is still good to use.
