About This Formula

DuMOR Blue Ribbon Electrolytes Supplement is a high-quality electrolyte supplement designed to provide your animals with the same nutrition as colostrum. Specifically formulated to provide optimal hydration for cattle, horses, goats, sheep, pigs, fawns, llamas and alpacas this delicious supplement also contains complex yeast cell sugars that support digestive health.

Dextrose, sodium bicarbonate, salt, potassium chloride, glycine, hydrolyzed yeast, sodium silico aluminate, artificial flavor, Yellow 6

Guaranteed Analysis:
Dextrose, (min.) 60.0%, Salt, (min.) 8.00%, (max.) 8.50%, Sodium, (min.) 6.00%, (max.) 6.50%, Potassium, (min.) 2.25%.

Mixing and Feeding Instructions:
Using the plastic measuring scoop enclosed in bag, mix the DuMOR Electrolytes Supplement powder into clean, warm water (100-110 F). The enclosed measuring scoop holds approximately 1.16 ounces (33 grams) dry powder by weight (about 1/6 of a dry kitchen measuring cup). For best results, do not mix Electrolytes powder into milk or milk replacer. Feed mixed Electrolytes solution separately, in between normal milk feedings, to provide supplemental fluids and electrolytes. Continue feeding Electrolytes solution for 2 to 3 days, until scours have stopped and hydration is normal, or as directed by your veterinarian. If scours do not improve, or if the animal appears dehydrated, contact your veterinarian immediately.

Please see the table on the product package for detailed feeding instructions by species.

DuMOR Blue Ribbon Electrolytes Supplement, 4.5 lb. is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product. This size should be stocked in stor I like the product and my alpacas also like it, consuming it during hot weather. I had to order it online this time because my TSC store, which used to stock this size, did not have a location defined in inventory for it. So it cost me for shipping. So I bought 2 bags.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helped scouring calf recover This electrolyte supplement helped our sick calf recover. We stopped giving it when the scours stopped but think we did so too soon because he got listless. Put him back on electrolytes for a couple more days and now he's doing well.

How much of this  DuMor can be added to a 55 gallon drum of water to water a pig

Asked by: Blaze0422
Here is the math for using Dumor Multi-species electrolyte for adult pigs: 1.75 ounces per gallon mixing rate = 6 lbs. per 55 gallons. This rate is used typically for re-hydration of electrolytes and provides energy. If an adult animal is severely dehydrated or has diarrhea, the feeder should consult their veterinarian. Here is the math for using Dumor Multi-species electrolyte for pre-weaned piglets: 7 oz per gallon mixing rate = 24 lbs. per 55 gallons. This rate is for sick, scouring piglets. If piglets are scouring, the feeder should consult their veterinarian. In both feeding situations, electrolytes should be offered in addition to free-choice, clean water.
