DuMOR Chick Starter/Grower 20% Feed, 50 lb. is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 46.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fine Powder I just purchased a 50 lb bag of the DuMORE Starter/Grower. When I opened the bag I find that it is all a fine powder rather than crumble as advertised. Very unhappy!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bow legged ducks, low niacin content. 4 out of 6 ducklings have crooked bow legs due to what I found out to be low niacin content of the feed. This is ok for some birds, not for ducks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cannot Recommend Tractor Supply for Feed I wrote a factual review. Rejected because I cited Tractor Supply price. Wrote a second review. Received THREE emails asking for best phone and time to call. Responded to each. NO CALL. Then received email my review was answered with phone number to call. I called number - they had no clue what I was talking about. I asked for the person who wrote the email and was told they don't work in that area. I had to threaten requestings a supervisor to prompt the girl to find the number. After long delay I'm again asked for my phone number...NO CALL. Well Micah the issue with your feed is your warehousing and handling. I've fed Dumor for years and moving to TN and buying Dumor crumble from your store is like a total different product. You turn crumble into powder - here's pictures. Your failure to address this issue is unacceptable and speaks volumes about your company. I will be calling Dumor today to report this experience and request alternative distributors in my area.

What is your recommendation for how much feed to feed broiler chickens? Should they stay on this till they are ready to kill?

Asked by: Mom2three
You would feed them free choice. They need feed in front of the chickens at all times until you harvest them.

How long would one bag last if feeding 4 chicks?

Asked by: vcg1705
Four chicks will consume approximately 60 lbs. from hatch to 18 weeks of age. This is an average. There is no real hard and fast number. We recommend feeding free choice.

Is the corn in the chick starter and starter grower is tested for vomitoxin? I have been using this feed for several years and just last year had poor results that lead to the death of 1/8 of my flock I was feeding this to. fecal test came back clean.

Asked by: Leebug
We do test for mycotoxin contamination. Vomitoxin is a mycotoxin. We have limits established for what is allowed in the ingredients. Anything that tests above that level is not allowed into our plant.
