Salt Crystals contain up to 99.6% pure salt. Made naturally with sun, wind and time, these solar crystals have a white, opaque appearance and a low insoluble content. The water softener salt crystals are also formulated to resist mushing and bridging, minimizing the accumulation of brine tank residue. It is recommended that you use these low insoluble solar salt crystals for all side-by-side water softeners.Note: Brand may vary by store. The product I purchased is good. Have used it for a long time. I will never purchase at this store again though. Very poor customer service when I asked for assistance with lifting into my vehicle. Two capable men wouldn’t help. A female employee did offer to help (I wish I would have asked her name).
