Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nature Love! Because of their amazing beauty, I totally enjoy feeding the deer every evening! I put out 3 separate piles of corn right outside my bathroom window, periodically checking to see if my grand surprise has arrived to feed!!! :) One evening I had 2 bucks chowing down. One with a half rack and the other with a full 8 pt. rank!!! Said to my friend the next day; " I hadda buck and a half last night!!! LOL They never cease to amaze me!!!

What is the difference between your deer corn and the large whole kernel corn bags?

Asked by: Woodhead1
Deer corn is "cleaner" than whole corn, meaning that the bag will contain less pieces of cob or plant debris that could potentially clog a feeder.

Could this loose corn be put in a squirrel feeder to prevent cobs being dragged all over my yard?

Asked by: Toomanysquirrels
It may be hard to get the loose corn to stay in the feeder while you are trying to fill it up, but it can be fed from the feeder.

can deer digest corn effectively ?

Yes, deer commonly nibble whole corn. With chewing, the whole kernels are broken down into smaller pieces, increasing its digestibility

why can't you feed to does or rabbits

Asked by: alman
If you are referring to female deer, they can consume deer corn safely. Rabbit does or rabbits in general cannot consume corn. Rabbits cannot properly digest the hull of corn kernels, and it can lead to intestinal impaction.
