DAP 100% Silicone Rubber Window, Door & Siding Sealant is a durable, 100% waterproof and weatherproof, all-purpose sealant. Works great for caulking and sealing out drafts, water and moisture around windows, doors, siding, gutters, flashing, pipes, vents and more. All purpose white silicone stays flexible to withstand expansion and contraction without cracking or losing adhesion. DAP caulk and sealants provide durable performance for a variety of projects.

Doesn’t work

Doesn’t work properly I cut off the tip and went to use it and the bottom busted out it went everywhere. When I opened it up the whole tip was solid as though it had been opened before and reclosed.

Thank you for posting your feedback. We are sorry to see your low star review on DAP 100% Silicone Sealant. Based on your commentary, it would likely indicate that the inner foil seal was not broken/punctured prior to attempting to apply the product. As indicated on the product package label guidance and supporting product literature: "2. Cut nozzle at a 45º angle to desired bead size. 3. Puncture inner foil seal. 4. Load into caulk gun. 5. Fill gap with sealant, pushing sealant ahead of nozzle."
