Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cub Cadet 22” walk Behind trimmer Great Heavy Duty string trimmer. Have been using it in the grove and around rock piles to knock down large weeds works very well. Manager recommended it to me, very please with the purchase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trimming easier Easy to use. I’m a 55 year old woman can Haiti’s good. I regret not having this years ago.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great "lawn mower" for weeds! Easy to start and to push, use like a lawn mower in the toughest of weeds.
Date published: 2019-08-13
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cub Cadet gets it done! We had some very thick brush that we could not get with a regular weed eater. The Cub Cadet ate right through it all.
Date published: 2019-08-13
Rated 1 out of 5 by from WON'T START Very disappointed in this product. I'm not usually a complainer, but this thing won't run smoothly if it finally starts. I haven't had this much trouble starting anything in 30 years. Naturally it is 1-2 weeks out of the 90 day warranty. I haven't tried to see if TS will do anything yet.
Date published: 2019-08-12
Rated 2 out of 5 by from NOT a lawn mower! Bought this 2 months ago and have more or less put it away. I made the mistake of thinking it could do the work of a lawn mower while avoiding rock damage to metal blades. It does work well on thick brush but basically just lays down tall lawn grass without doing much cutting. It also cannot be used on slopes as mild as 15-20 degrees and frequently gouges large chunks out of the lawn. As the manual does mention avoiding slopes I cannot fault Cub Cadet. So overall good machine for brush but not lawn work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NOT sure why I never bought one until now Lots of power, easy to start, and easy to reload string.
Date published: 2019-08-12
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trimmer Works great for those heavy grass areas. And easy starting, not a back breaker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great piece of equipment! I bought this wheeled trimmer after deciding my regular pole style string trimmer wasn’t quite enough for what I needed to accomplish. Let me say, this piece of equipment is by far one of the best purchases I’ve made for maintaining my property through medium to heavy brush, high weeds and woody weeds, This thing is a powerhouse for its size. I am Extremely satisfied with my cub cadet st100.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Walk Behind Field & Brush Trimmer This is my first walk-behind field & Brush Trimmer. I was impressed with the amount of work this machine can do. I cleared out a fence row in a little amount of time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great Been using commercially for overgrown lots and yards where mower can't go. Punches above it's weight. Trims thick and tall weeds grasses. Downside is it is a a workout when using for long periods. Some big jobs I ran this 5, 6 hrs a day or more. Self propelled would be better. On slopes you have to be careful, but slight slopes are manageable. Engine starts first pull unless it's been sitting for a week or two and is very powerful. Only gets bogged down in heavy brush. I like it and it is very useful. All in all a very good machine and I have had no issues to date.
Date published: 2019-08-09
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clears brush like a hot knife through butter. The machine started easy, is light weight and does what it promises. If it hits loose gravel it does send it flying at a fairly high velocity. So be careful where you use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleased with CC field and brush timmer Cut through high weeds with no problems. Had recently had a lot of rain and weeds were over knee high. The CC walk behind field and brush trimmer cut through them with no issues. Did about an acre of weeds in a short amount of time. Very pleased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mowing my Rocks on the Hillside - a solution... Well...after hitting more than a few rocks in Texas Hill Country on a hillside grade with a regular push mower or not being able to navigate a tractor in tight spaces the Cub Cadet ST100 brush trimmer does the job. "When it rains, it rains bolders!" Is a common saying in the Texas Hill Country, partly due to topsoil washing away to reveal more rock in place of what was once soil. You just can't use a typical mower in and around uneven areas and rocky soil. Try a typical weeder and it will kill your shoulder if you have a 1/4 acre or more to navigate, plus the string line is not as thick as that on the Cub Cadet ST100 so you we go though a lot more where as the .155" string on the Cut Cadet will cut a lot futher before needed to change it. A simple loop and pull keeps it in place and is quicker than dealing with winding a line spool. About the only thing I wish they would add is a brush blade for some of the smaller trees and a variable throttle control option. Much faster when you have to clear around obsticles than other tools. Yes - I would recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great trimmer I bought this after watching a Video on Youtube and I went straight the next day to my local tractor supply at Logan WV and bought one and this thing is wonderful it go's through high grass like butter it starts the first pull every time and it has power to cut through and weeds or tall grass love it and its easy to push and pull
Date published: 2019-08-03
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Be ready to spend a lot on strings Strings don’t last long. Makes mess in long grass.
Date published: 2019-08-03
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job Starts easy, cuts good, does not throw debris on operator
Date published: 2019-08-02
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just what I needed Powerful motor, easy maneuverability, cuts great! String wears down quickly in heavy brush, but is easily replaced
Date published: 2019-08-02
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy Start Very easy to re cord. Starts easily. Tough machine. You will need to attack weeds and brush straight on as sideways angles tend to pull the cords out very quickly. Cutter sits on the ground so must elevate as you walk behind. Really like this trimmer overall. Doesn't seem to throw debris as much as others i've had.
Date published: 2019-08-02
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good-by Grass and Weeds Quick start and easy to change the trim lines if needed. Does the job.
Date published: 2019-08-01
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Farm life I was very impressed at how easy unit is to set up and start. The strands lasted longer than I anticipated and it’s cutting rate is more than adequate even in dense and tall foliage.
Date published: 2019-08-01
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best purchase of the season! Best purchase I have made in a long time! Had trouble holding up a regular weed walker due to health issues. This makes lawn work a breeze!

Our ST 100 has worked perfectly until this year. Now it run at low speed and just rev's up and down never hitting more than 1/2 speed. We replaced the filter and it still will not operate properly. We have a 4 yr. extended warranty but lost the receipt.
