Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Transmission Stay away from this tiller the transmission is junk. Had problems from day one with it popping out of the counter rotate setting. Took it to the "certified" warranty repair facility 3 times within the 3 year warranty period and was told that there was nothing wrong with it. I just kept using it since they would not fix it for me. I'm sure it was just to get it past the 3 year warranty period. I now have a piece of trash. Stay away from Cub Cadet or any tiller that is made by MTD!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WORKS GREAT I bought one over 4 years ago and it did everything they claim. It made short work of my garden spot on soil so hard I could not dig in it ! Now it just chews through my garden like nothing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Transmission locked up- Bad Service from Cub Cadet I bought the RT-65 with the Honda motor from Tractor Supply. Probably used it 4-5 times. While using it last week, the transmission locked up while tilling the garden. I took it to a Cub Cadet service center. They are telling me the transmission needs replaced and it is not covered under warranty because it might have hit a root on a tree or something hard. Really? That is their best explanation? Big kicker is they want twice the cost of the tiller to repair it. Unbelievable

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ok but not great After reading reviews and looking at other tillers,I decided to try but with reservation. The engine is great it starts on first pull.First con is no throttle on handle bars ,you have to walk around to engine.Tills fine but hard to get into gear .so far it has been ok but I am concerned since most reviews have been problems with transmission in second year.Overall so far it does the job but time will tell if the stamped metal body will hold up.I gave it 4 stars .
