Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk This machine is the worst garden tool I have ever purchased! Wheels sit and spin in soft soil and a stiff push is needed to free it from park. Soil builds up behind wheels and in front of shield which again causes a stall. Cleats on tires are inadequate to keep machine moving, they spin. No nuetral so you have to pull pin from each axle, raise the machine and pull wheel to line up with holes in axle to push machine freely. THen reverse order to put it back in gear. No speed control on engine. Buyer beware!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy. The transmission gears are weak. My father bought one of these and two gears broke in the transmission. Do not buy this brand.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Double handling Had used mine originally to break up some lighter soils in my yard for a garden. Took a long time for me to clear the 40 X 60 area. Went out and found a small garden tractor disc harrow and plow and use these in the fall and spring first, THEN use the tiller to do the finishing touches. Works a lot better and easier on the body!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Darn good tiller Bought this tiller a month ago after looking at all the reviews of different brands and decided on the RT45. Delivered on time and very minimal assembly. Gear box slightly low on gear oil but no big deal. Tiller started on the first pull and does a wonderful job. Have used several times now and couldn't be happier. If you have rocks or roots just use common sense and stop if you hit a large rock and remove it. As far as roots i haven't had any problems at all. Much better than my 20 year old tiller
