This said it was for a 42 inch cut but it was way too big for my 42 inch Cadet . My bad the part number was a little different . I took it back to my local Store where I bought it and they exchanged it no problem . Unfortunately they didn’t have my part number in stock so I looked at some Troybilt belts and found the exact part number and it was for a 42 inch cut so I tried it and it fit perfectly ! I gave it 4 stars because it was my fault but disappointed that my part number wasn’t in stock .

Doesn't fit

Find the third guy to write that this does not fit their ltx1040. It's a 42" deck. It's a cub. Thought this was pretty basic. At first I thought I screwed up but I see I am the third one here to have it not fit. Something's wrong?

I work in scottsville KY so I call scottsville Ky TSC and gave " zac" my model number off my mower . ITS A LT1042 mower . The belt he gave me was about 20 inches to long. Puts me in a huge bind. What ever happen to actually looking up parts from a model number? You can't make a mistake that way. 109" belt on a 42 " cut. Come on ZAC.

Bought this a couple of weeks ago. Great quality but does not fit my RZT 42". The description states that it does, but this is NOT correct.
