Rated 5 out of 5 by from Utility pump vs sump pump Works great as a pond aggregator. We have pond algae and this helps break it up. I read a webpage the told me the difference in the two which a sump pump is designed to move solids. I only needed liquid moved this was perfect.
Date published: 2019-05-19
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well Works great. Does exactly what it’s designed to do. Does not suck up mud though so if that’s what you want, get a pump designed for mud

Rated 5 out of 5 by from County Line Submersible Pump Due to a heavy snow year this spring our basement flooded with the April thaw. I picked up this pump at our local Tractor Supply and it ran steady for almost 3 weeks and worked to perfection.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gets the job done Between massive rainfall and spring run off we found our basement flooded, this drained it fairly quickly but seems slower then the same size pump we bought a few years ago.

Date published: 2019-04-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent in a bind. My husband and I bought this a few weeks ago because our whole basement had flooded 1 to 2 inches when it started raining and the snow was melting. We were up half the night trying to get the water out. Last night, it rained again, with more snow melting, and the pump helped to keep the water to a minimum.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pumps fast Purchased to pump out a hot tub when water quality goes down.. Works great!
Date published: 2019-04-02
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked better than expected I purchased this last month when my garage flooded. It went way above my expectations for a smaller pump. With ice and debris it still pumped out a 20'x20'x 4" of water in just a few hours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quite and efficient Used to pump water out of my basement during long rain storms. It works great! Using a 50 ft garden hose, it pumps about 200 gal/hr. It takes a little time but it runs super quiet to where you cant even hear it underwater. Buy it!

Can this pump be used for a landscape waterfall

Asked by: Local Joe
This pump is not recommended for use with a water feature as it uses an oil filled motor.
Answered by: Astroer
Date published: 2016-08-16

Can this pump run dry or does it need a continuous flow of water?

Asked by: Mikes3994
No, this unit cannot run dry! It is a pump to evacuate water, watched, so it does not run dry and then to be sut off. This Unit Can Not be Ran Continuously, it will Destroy the Motor in a Short Time.
