Rated 1 out of 5 by from Like the compactness We bought this and can not get it to take. We installed a brand new point 12 ft. down with all new plumbing and it won't prime.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprised Works really well. Took about 3 times to finally get it to prime, but once it did everything worked as it should. Has pretty good pressure and cycles like it should to hold a constant PSI.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1-2-3 GO I bought this set up last month for my new property. It took me about an hour out of the box to have it hooked up and ready to test. I was not sure if it would have enough power and water pressure to make the 150 yard run to the house. I was very wrong about that assumption. I have way more pressure than I ever have had on city water system. Im so glad my local tractor supply had this on hand amd would recommend this product to anyone.
Date published: 2019-05-09
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk product I bought this product and it did not perform as it says it should. Had a hard time picking up water at 25 ft let alone the 70 ft it is advertised to pick up. I returned product 10 days after purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Deep well jet pump very quiet I bought this pump and tank for a country house to replace an old one. My son installed it by himself. Pump is quiet, works great. We were also impressed with Tractor Supply as it was our first visit to that store.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Off Grid Living I needed a water pump that was quiet and didn't turn on and off every time I used the water in my remote RV. After a little assembly and some fittings this worked great. It should come with a check valve, you'll have a hard time using it without one. It's quiet and takes very little power. Comes on at 30 psi and shuts off at 50 psi.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works ok The pump works good but it dose not have the pressure I want.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Product! Working great so far! Hopefully it lasts longer than the last one. Weve had this a couple weeks now, the last one, which was a step below one only lasted about a year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great,... after a little work Bought this to replace a seized pump and 5 gallon tank. nice to have it integrated.instructions could have been a little more clear for my application (shallow well) need to make modifications, which the instructions did try to explain. After a few different combination attempts and trips to the hardware store this pump works geat. much more quiet than the previous pump. much easier to adjust the pessure too. All things considered I would reccomend this pump but for a shallow well it is not plug and play you will need to change a couple thing and for the most part parts are supplied.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little-big pump This pump was a replacement for a 18 gallon and not only does it perform better than the original, it was easy to install. It's very quiet as well. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Water Pressure Pump I bought this to replace a Craftsman pump that went south on me. I won’t be going back to Sears for a water pressure pump. While this pump is smaller it works markedly better. Tractor Supply you have a winner with this pump.

Using as booster pump b/c low city pressure. Set to kick on @44psi (air tank @42psi). Set to kick off @68psi. When pump hits 68psi, pump stops. Then pressure rapidly drops to 44psi... pump kicking on/off several times a minute. What's wrong?

Asked by: BWolf
You need a check valve on the suction line from the water source (City Line). You must have a 1-1/4” pipe on the nose of the pump, that would be at least 10” to 12” from the pump to the check valve. The check valve is a one way valve to allow the water to come to the pump, but not go back to the city water line.

How do I pull the impeller off to clean the silt that made it through our footvalve and screen?

Asked by: notacad
You will have to take the back of the motor (canopy), off so you can see the center of the motor. There is going to be two springs. Take a 7/16” open wrench and go from 7 O’clock and go up in front of the springs, turn the impeller till it will not turn anymore. Then turn the Impeller counter clock wise (just like a nut on a bolt), to get I off the motor shaft.

Hi, The pump is primed, hooked up to plenty of water, wired 110 (which it's set at) and it will not turn off. It gets around 40 psi and stays there...running the whole time. It moves enough water we can use it, but have to turn it off at breaker.

All reports on drawdown versus pump output say you need drawdown gallons to equal GPM of pump, how come this setup does not meet this standard?

Asked by: djorda
It depends on how many gallons of water is coming in to your water source. If you are using this unit as deep well and your water is coming from a well, the well is 100 Deep, but the Surface of the water is at 30’ form the top of the ground, your ejector at the bottom of the two pipes are at 80’, this unit will give you 3.5gpm. If the well has 12gpm, the water Level will not be drawn down, it will stay at 30’. Now if you are using this Unit as a Shallow Well (25’ or Less to the surface of the water in the well), this unit will give you 9.5gpm at 5’, 9gpm at 10’, 8gpm at 15’ and 6.5gpm at 20’, so if the water coming in from underground is 12gpm, the water will not go down.

We set pump to kick on at 44psi (air tank at 42psi). High pressure cuts off at 68 psi. As soon as pump hits 68psi, the pump stops but then the pressure rapidly drops back to 44psi... so pump is kickin on/off several times a minute. What's wrong?

Asked by: BWolf
You have water going somewhere. 1. If you are using this unit as a shallow well application (you have to be 25’ or less from the water surface, to the pump)On Page #5, You have to have the ejector on the pump and then have the check valve, 10” to 12” from the ejector. 2. If you are using the unit as a deep well application (your water is further than 25’ from the pump)On Page #6, you see in Figure #6 is for the 4” or larger well casing. Figure #7 is a 2” well casing, which needs a different ejector. With the deep well application, you need a foot valve on the end of the ejector. If you do not have the check valve or foot valve, the pump is running, putting water into the tank. The tank tells the pressure switch to turn off the unit, because the valve is not in place, the water goes from the tank back through the pump and into the water source.
