Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turned it on for the first time...all the one star I bought it brand new even after reading the reviews. The fittings on the manifold and on the tank cracked and separated. I had a full 40 gallons of insect chemicals and so I tried to use the wand...then the pump failed. It was a fuse, but even after changing it the pump still stayed off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't believe all the bad reviews I bought one yesterday. CoutryLine must be some TSC name since it is really a Fimco 40 gallon sprayer, the instruction book is titled Fimco. I think it is a really good little sprayer. My neighbor has had one for 10 years and I borrowed his for the last five years and it works great. The key to using this sprayer is MAINTENANCE. You must clean the line filter in front of the pump at least every tank load, and do the sprayer nozzles as well (same for any sprayer actually). You must do the proper winter conditioning as well and make sure you have RV antifreeze in the line or make sure there is no water in the pump. This is my sixth year using the Fimco 40 gallon sprayer on 15 acres (mine and 2 neighbors, they call me the pasture master). Take care of it and it will work good for you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great features I bought this a month ago and have used it every week. The boom on back folds out if your trying to cover large areas. Have been using to spray food plots

Make sure the bypass line is closed all the way. If it is, then you need to check your filter screen and make sure all plumbing is good, no leaks and nowhere that it could be sucking air. If everything looks good, then will probably have to take the head of the pump off and clean the check valve under some hot, soapy water, like dawn dish soap works the best, a very light scrubbing with something like and old toothbrush, something with soft bristles and let it soak for about an hour, rinse and replace in the pump. Check valve is the first piece inside the head of the pump, triangular shaped with 3 brownish-red rubber valves. If after cleaning it, it still isn’t performing, will probably have to replace the check valve. Please check your email for the manual.

Is the battery available instore (Bastrop, Texas) for the 40 Gal County Line sprayer and what is the order number?

Asked by: Peter H
Please check with your local store for inventory levels on specific items. Any fully charged 12 Volt battery will power the equipment. You can use the one on the equipment that is pulling the sprayer or use a stand alone. A deep cycle battery is recommended since it holds a charge longer but any 12 volt battery will work.

How do you reprime the pump?

Asked by: kimbar33
Pumps are self-priming, if it’s not priming, it’s either debris on the filter or intake line somewhere or it could possibly need to have the check valve cleaned or replaced, as that’s the part responsible for building up pressure and pumping through the lines. Just pull the check valve and clean under hot, soapy water (such as dawn dish soap works the best), a light scrubbing with something like an old toothbrush (something with soft bristles) and then let it soak for about an hour in the hot, soapy solution. Rinse and put back into the pump. If still having the issue, we would recommend replacing that part.
