Rated 5 out of 5 by from This 3- point log splitter goes all day long! I have owned this country line splitter for several years now and have never had an issue. The 3 point hitch is easy to attach. Once the hydraulics are hooked up it's all business. This splitter will out work you and keep on going. It's a 5 star product and well worth the money. If you want to save yourself a ton of work go out and get yourself one of these Country Line 3 Point Splittets. It's one of the best decisions I ever made.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but needs some more design I bout it 2 weeks ago. It gets the job done. I was gonna get a Dirty Hands but wasn’t paying for shipping to store. Not to my house but to store they were gonna charge. It shouldn’t be for sale on website if you have to pay to get it shipped to store. As for this unit, it needs more than the 1 leg on back of unit. I like that it’s adjustable but couldn’t it be made with a stand that adjustable instead of 1 small leg. It makes it very unstable. I’d also recommend a brace from front legs to the beam that splitter lays on. It’s not bent in 2 weeks but it’s going to I’m sure. I will probably have to brace it up better and do away with the one leg stand in back of unit. It does what it’s supposed to and will go through anything just needs more design to it. As for the instability of it due to the one leg I’m surprised it made it out of factory with that design. Just my opinion. I gave it 3 stars due to the splitting ability 0 stars on the design. Love TSC and they are very friendly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beat splitter you can by for the money Purchased the 3pt hydraulic splitter from TSC and absolutely love it! It has lots of power even with my tractor’s 7 gpm aux flow rate. I maxed out the log size restrictions of the machine with oak logs and this thing split it like nothing! Great splitter, I highly recommend it, especially for the price!

does the cylinder auto return to start position or do you have to manually hold the valve to reverse cly.

Asked by: HugoCP
You have to move the lever in to the retract position and the detent will hold the lever in position until the cylinder is completely retracted and then it will pop in to the neutral position automatically.

1) how large is the cylinder? What is stroke and bore? Ton rating? 2) what is maximum pressure in PSI? Flow rate? 3) Is the valve open center or closed center? 4) Will the hitch accept a Cat 1 JD iMatch Quick Hitch once couplers are installed?

Asked by: Del C
The Cylinder is 4” X 24” the Tonnage rating is determined by flow and PSI rating on your unit. You will want 8-15 GPM and 3200PSI max The valve is open centered Yes that will work with a quick hitch

I have a Massey GC1720 with a pump rating of 6.9 gpm. Could I use this log splitter with close to the splitting force of 22 ton. In other words will it do the job for a homeowner use or just not enough power for splitting.

Asked by: TMez
The SCV flow rate for that tractor is only 4.8 gpm with a cycle time of 28 seconds which is slow. It might have the pressure depending on the settings in the tractor but that is not known from the data. The splitter should never exceed 20 gpm or 3200 PSI according to the operators manual.

My splitter cllinder extends around 1/2" in 3 seconds. Way too slow. 50 hp diesel tractor.

Have splitter attached to 2000 Kabota M4900 & when the cylinder gets to the end of stroke it locks up the hydraulic system & have to go back to the tractor and put the hydraulic valve control in neutral & lock in hydraulics to complete cycle. Why?

Q answers seem wrong or contradictory. One says hoses included, another not. One says hooks to PTO, doesn't it mean hooks to 3-point hitch? Does it use PTO for splitting power or hydraulics? Specs should be more detailed.

Asked by: RSKX
It attaches to the tractor via 3 point hitch. The power to run the splitter is from your tractor’s hydraulic system. Typically an auxiliary hydraulic hookup on the rear of tractor.
