Innovation Pet Extreme Walk-In Hen Chicken Coop, Up to 12 Chickens is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from A nice Poultry Palace. There was only one review for this coop, though there were more for the smaller versions. It says holds 12 chickens, but I wouldn't put but 6-8 medium-sized. Lots of room in the run, however. It came in 4 huge boxes, and I was very impressed by the packaging and delivery. Kudos to Tractor Supply for keeping me informed too. The coop is what expected for the price, a bit flimsy, but would be fine elsewhere. I have 70 mph winds, and snow, so am bolstering the structure with extra 1"x2" strips, corner braces, and tie-downs with cable. Also using better, longer screws than came with coop. Stapled foil insulation under the roofing. Will also put a pad, maybe indoor-outdoor, for better footing on the pull-out tray, which is too slick for hens. Directions, as everyone notices on these types, are only pictures, no instructions, but doable. Three Senior ladies took 2 days and it was relatively easy. I would recommend this coop, as long as the 'cons' are considered. Lots of pros.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Coop I bought this model 5 years ago as a newbie chicken owner and it has worked very well for 4 chickens. The best feature is it's height - there is much less bending over. That being said, the height of the "second story" was initially intimidating for our 6-week-old chickens but they quickly adapted. It arrived in pallets that had to be assembled but it wasn't too hard for hubby to put together. As noted elsewhere, it could use some latches to keep the doors open when you are cleaning but hook and eyes were simple to add. We have since added an automatic door opener to the "run" so that our chickens can range in our fenced-in yard, a heated water dispenser and a flat panel heater for the winter. The walls are rather thin so I add insulation (duct insulation) to the outside during our cold New England winters.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy Assembly Purchased on line. Arrived on pallet in 4 boxes. Was well packed. Assembled myself, instructions were sufficient and easy to follow. Really like I can almost stand up strait when inside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Coop I got my chickens here and my coops. They are super happy chickens. I feel they are safe in the coop. Built good and sturdy

Need to put coop against a wall. Can the kit be constructed such that the nesting box is switched to the opposite side?

Asked by: Farmer Mark
The coop was not designed to switch the nesting box to the opposite side. If you're handy, you may be able to make it work, but we would not be able to guarantee it.
