Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice coop My coop arrived on yesterday. It took my dad and I three hours to put it together. The parts are not marked, it would have been easier if they were. The entrance door to the coop is about 3 feet tall, so you have to crouch to get in. Once inside I can stand up, but there is not too much head room to spare. I am 5'2" tall. The coop comes painted with a white promer, so you may want to paint it. Otherwise, I am happy with my purchase, it is a nice coop.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I give it 4* for design, 2.5* for workmanship Love the design, but don't believe you can build it in one hour. Every piece needs to be painted. There is a light primer coat but that is not going to help much without another coat of good quality paint. Also the wood they use is very very soft so make sure not to over-tighten the screws during assembly. I also epoxied all wood that would be in contact with the ground to prevent rot. I would rate it 5 stars if they used a better quality wood.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handle and wheels Add handle at coup nest floor height in center ( about 3 1/2 feet off the ground. Add two wheels on screen end so the user can lift on nest end 4 to 6 inches up and pull with wheels making contact with grass/ground for easy re-locating.

What height are the roosting bars? What is the "molding" material around bottom edge of pen ?

Asked by: Brandii
The molding material around the wire of all of the panels is wood. It is a Chinese Cypress wood. The exterior roosting bar is half way up the coop in the corner of the pen area. There are also roosting bars inside the enclosed area of the coop just above the nesting boxes.
