Stove 414 affordable, time will determine durable.Purchased my first Coleman stove during mid-1972 [45 years ago]. Late 2017, took stove in for overhaul/repair at a certified Colman repair shop. Repair part needed -- no longer manufactured. Bottom line, purchased new Coleman 414 stove via on-line.

A great stove!I have the three version of this stove. have had it for 50 years.the only thing I have had to replace is the pressure pump. I have taken good care of it, and if you do, it will last forever. Very cheap to operate

Dependable in all conditionsI purchased this stove to replace a 2 burner propane stove. I decided to move away from the propane canisters because I got tired of holding on to mostly empty canisters. I also camp in the cold frequently and have had my propane stove fail to light up a few times. White gas stoves take a bit more work to get started, but are otherwise great. They are reliable in all conditions. It takes some practice to get a nice blue flame. The secondary burner will not be as strong as the primary, which is fine, but you need to prepare for that. My only negative is that the folding lid does not fit tightly in it's hinge. You can slide it back and forth about 1/8"; enough that it can come free of its hinge.
