Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the Coleman Quality I Was Used To I've used Coleman stoves for years. My 35 year old stove just gave up the ghost after a lot of usage. I purchased this larger stove and just got back from an extended camping trip where I used this stove the whole time. It was a big disappointment. Definitely not the quality I was accustomed to from Coleman. It was virtually impossible to get the flame adjusted to something reasonable. At times flames would come out from areas other than the burners. All my cookware and the burner surfaces are covered with black soot. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not What They Used To Be Bought as as replacement for a 424 that would have cost more to restore than buying this new one. PRO - Coleman still makes the best stove on the market (in this category anyway), so you're not going to do better than this for a full-size stove for camping right out of the truck. CON - this stove is mighty flimsy. The metal is significantly thinner and cheaper than my 30ish years old one. I should've just spent the extra money and time to restore the old one.

Gasoline???? I’ve used Coleman fuel many times. But gasoline???

Asked by: D1969
As Coleman is going forward with liquid fueled appliances, this stove is a duel fuel. It is compatible with either Coleman Fuel or Unleaded Fuel (at the lowest octane). This stove is not meant to be used with mixing the fuels together, so please use one or the other.
