Rated 2 out of 5 by from Prepare to do some work, or did I have bad luck Start with the good stuff first the frame is built well, and I like the cargo storage cage, and for the bad. First trip from the store it rattled the whole way home. Got it home and checked lug nuts they were lose, so I tightened them, still shakes my SUV while pulling it. So I believe I have to get my tires on the trailer balance now. Also be prepared to correctly install the wires back into the tail lights. Also the ramps could of been secured a lot better pins barely go in to hold the ramps in place. Plan on welding something up to secure them better.

how do you replace the wood floor boards?

Asked by: shameless farmer
Carry on trailer deck board replacement There are two ways we attach deck boards. 1. Nail them with nails through the steel cross members (special hardened nails) 2. Screw them to the cross members (self-drilling self-tapping screws) 3. These attachment (nails or screws) are usually on a few of the cross members (1 to 3) depending on the trailer length and model The boards are retained to the trailer on both ends under a steel plate. To replace the boards, grind the welds on the front 1/4x2 flat bar and remove it. This will allow the boards or boards to be removed pulling then up/ out from front to rear. In the case of screwed floors remove the screws prior to removing the plate and boards. In the case of nails pull the boards off the trailer pulling the head of the nail through the board. Use of a crow bar (or similar tool) will be required in most cases. The nail heads are usually not accessible with the board in place. After the board or boards are removed you can remove the nails with a crow bar by first breaking off the excess nail length below the cross member, then removing the head end by pulling with a crow bar. Using a block under the nail pulling end of the crow bar adds leverage for easier nail removal. Reverse this order for board replacement using self-drilling screws or drilling new holes and using normal bolts/screws /or carriage bolts (user preference). The front flat bat retainer can be rewelded or drilled for bolts or screws in lieu of welding. This repair has variations that can be used depending on the available tools or the operator skills.

will this hold a harley trike and do u have a tilt style

Asked by: BLR55
7X12GWPT Model has an empty wt.990 lbs. and a max pay load capacity of 2000 lbs.Deck Length: 144" Deck Width: 82" The mesh ramp is rated at 1000 lbs. evenly distributed weight. We recomend if your cargo has a wheel base that does not fall on our support cross members that you use runners or a sheet of plywood to help evenly distribute the weight on the wheels. We do not offer this model in the tilt.
