Ashley EPA-Certified Cast Iron Wood 2,000 sq. ft. Freestanding Stove, AC2000 is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from looks great Haven't used it yet. The "chimney sweep" is installing it tomorrow. Will add to this review when we actually try it out. One drawback that we have noticed is that it may have been better in our situation to have purchased a stove that the pipe would have fitted in the back instead of on top. We would like to cook on top of it if the power is out and this would have added more top cook space.

How close can the stove be mounted to a wall and how dose it get combustion air

Asked by: texastall
The unit must be 16" away from the back wall and 18" on either side of the unit. All clearances can be found within the owners manual which can be found under the more info tab. The unit gets combustion air from draft and interior airflow. However, if you home is airtight or a mobile home, you may need to install a fresh air kit which brings in airflow from outside for better performance of your unit.

Is this a heater or a stove? It shouldn't be called a stove if you can't cook on it.

Asked by: Zipper525
You cannot cook on this unit, but we do consider it a wood stove.
