Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great food plot seed This spring (2019) will be the 5th year for my clover plot. Hands down the most productive plot for deer and turkey I’ve ever planted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Green I followed Antler King's recommendations for seed prep and discing etc and had great results with this product. Deer mowed it down and held them in the area.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great clover mix! This mix produces lots of tonnage. Good blend of red and white clover. Chicory helps this blend persist over summer. My pasture has morphed into a food plot by simply frost seeding this mix two years in a row. Deer love it!

Any specific kind of fertilizer I should use on this?

Asked by: Zak95
Our liquid Clover Fuel is designed to only fertilize the clover and not the weeds and grasses

How well does the clover block the growth of weeds and other unwanted plants?

Asked by: CptWill
Provided your pH is adequate (6.0-7.0) allowing the trophy Clover to thrive it will do a great job suffocating out any competition and will only get better and better as this is a 4-7 year blend. Proper maintenance of Fertilizer and periodic mowing will help!

How much area does the 3.5 pound bag cover?

Asked by: Walterjw
The 3.5 lb bag of Trophy Clover Mix covers 1/2 acre and provides 5 different perennials...Clover and chicory. With proper pH you can get 4-6 years of growth out of this mix. An all time favorite and both a fantastic food plot and hunt plot.

Spring planting date for central Alabama

Asked by: deerman42
You have a pretty big window for spring planting in AL...as early as February and into May. The earlier in that timeframe the more time it has to germinate and establish a deep root system (as much as 3') to withstand the hot summer. Make sure you check your pH and add the appropriate lime to achieve a PH between 6.0-7.0. Thanks and good luck!
