Antler King Lights Out Forage Oats, 12 lb., 1/4 Acre is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works well First time trying a food plot. Mowed off the brush and worked the ground with an old drag cultivator and an atv. Wated a few days and put the seed down with a seed spreader. Added the proper amount of 19-19-19 fertilizer and this plot TOOK OFF. I have doe in it regularly during daylight hours. Bucks have visited and put ribs and scrapes all along the edges of the plot. I set in a ground blind also purchased at tractor supply and they never know I’m there. They’ve eaten it so regularly it appears mowed. Now it’s rifle season and the radishes are big and are being dug out and eaten by the deer. Good stuff and I will be using it again next year

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome Antler king baby. The oats take the grazing pressure while the rap and turnips mature. What a great mixture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product!! Nothing else would grow here but just look at the Lights Out!! The deer have been eating on this foodplot every day for over a month and the trail camera stays busy.

does it need full sun?

Asked by: klondike john
Not at all...Lights Out is one of our more shade tolerant mixes. Now it definitely needs some sun, but not full's a fantastic hunt plot that provides tons of forage and greens up quickly. Definitely a favorite of ours, good luck planting!

Is antler Kings lights out a no till for hard to reach spots??

Asked by: David22261403
It sure can work GREAT that way. Do whatever you can to rough up the soil with a steel garden rake, etc. but’s easy to use, shade tolerant and grows fast. Good luck!
