American Hunter 350 lb. Tripod Feeder is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great feeder!! Runs flawlessly and holds a lot of corn. The solar powered feature is awesome and keeps you from having to replace batteries every 2-3 months. Other feeders require more frequent refilling and battery switch outs. Not this monster!! love it - getting another soon

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Heavy duty Barrel and legs look heavy duty, along with the timer/ solar panel combination. I've not assembled/ run it yet, so I can't give 5 stars yet. The lid latch is superior to any feeder I've ever seen

So does the corn come out of the 55 gallon steel drum or the 5 gallon bucket? Does the bucket hang down from the barrel? Worried about squirrels eating the plastic. How do you secure the feeder from tipping over?

Asked by: jettex
Per the Vendor: "Our tripod 55 gallon feeder stands on 3 legs that comes with it and the corn comes out the bottom of the barrel with the feeder kit mounted. It will broad cast corn on a scheduled time. The bucket feeder only comes with a kit and needs to be set up you decide to put it out hanging by the handle and will broad cast corn with the feeder kit mounted at a scheduled time."

can this be used as a fish feeder

Asked by: Kris 23
It is not intended for this purpose and there are much better products such as hanging feeders that would be more efficient.

How much feed is dispensed from here every second or every 30 seconds?

Asked by: Amber881
For standard corn, the rate of feed is approximately 1 lb per 3 seconds. So 10lb would be spread out over a 30 second feed timing.
