Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well, easy install I had t-posts with snap-on insulators but evidently a big deer, or several of them, crashed into the electric fence and many of the snap-ons shattered causing the line to ground out. I kept the t-posts and just zip-tied these alongside, making the fence line much more sturdy. Deer haven't been back into the orchard since installation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for temporary use The idea is very good, we use them only for temporary fencing for our horse. After some time in the sun they will break if bent. They will start to bend while the fencing in putting pressure on them.

HOW MANY POST WILL BE NEEDED TO PUT UP 100 FT OF FENCE?

Asked by: nurse honeybear
It depends upon the type of fencing, purpose of the fence, contour of the yard and whether its a straight fence or if it is angular. Generally, we recommend using posts every 6-8 feet. So if you put a post every 7ft on a straight 100ft fence you will need roughly 14 posts.

Can this fence post be used on a hardware cloth 1.5 openings fence ???

Asked by: Dawn54
It will hold the hardware cloth, however it seems that typically hardware cloth is 48” tall which would be roughly 9” higher than the manufacturer's Step-In Post due to the A-48 only showing 39” of the product above ground.”
