Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well, easy install I had t-posts with snap-on insulators but evidently a big deer, or several of them, crashed into the electric fence and many of the snap-ons shattered causing the line to ground out. I kept the t-posts and just zip-tied these alongside, making the fence line much more sturdy. Deer haven't been back into the orchard since installation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for temporary use The idea is very good, we use them only for temporary fencing for our horse. After some time in the sun they will break if bent. They will start to bend while the fencing in putting pressure on them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use Love love love these heavy duty plastic post. Perfect for putting up a quick electric fence in no time at all!! Also can’t beat the price. Every time I want to let horses clear out another area, these are my go to post.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great temp posts Love these temp post for moving our pastures around. They are pretty sturdy and have been effective at keeping the livestock where they belong.
Date published: 2019-08-11
Rated 1 out of 5 by from These posts are of poor quality compared to others I have used hundreds of these posts. They have too much plastic in them and will become brittle and crack and break over time. I no longer buy them. I have used thousands of posts made by competitors. Posts with more fiberglass or rubber will last much longer. You will be disappointed if you buy these posts.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Temp fence post These are good for temp use only like if you are trying to move aninals from lot to lot. They warp and bend and break in short amount of time about a week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick, temporary fence is now permanent! Really like how easy it was to findin the store and the great price! I got it home and was able to put up my temporary fence in just a short time with minimal effort. My temporary fence has now become a permanent fence and I don't even have to change out my t-post! post

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 4 ft. Black Step-In Fence Post These work great with the white polly tape. They are a little more expensive at TSC then other places.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Would never BUY AGAIN Ibought 100 to fence in the field over half of them have been replaced they break in half or at the base not good at all...
Date published: 2019-06-30
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did the job Sturdy for medium-duty. Used 25 for temporary fencing. Step-in makes for no-tool installation and no damage to turf when removed.
Date published: 2019-05-28
Rated 1 out of 5 by from worthless Description says "reinforced polypropylene" but these might as well be made of paper. The plastic bends if you look at it. It is much too flimsy to hold up netting or anything else.
Date published: 2019-05-25
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job well These are hardy little things, and they can be bent back into shape after years of abuse! Great for electric fences for when you take your horses camping or as posts to mark out areas to avoid. Or for decoration if that's what you're after I suppose.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from you get what you pay for for the price the poles are ok came with some viual defects but if you grow up on a farm or ranch its not the look that matter its the function and these will function just fine

Rated 3 out of 5 by from PVC electric fence post If soil is hard, you need to drive a pilot hole otherwise they will break. Otherwise easy to install and work well

Date published: 2018-11-08
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for the designed purpose These posts are great for hanging wire for an electric fence. The posts are not designed to have tension on them, meaning, you should use a metal corner post as these will bend when you tension your wire. They are plastic after all. I did break one foot step off one post. I was still able to use the post by tapping it in with a rubber mallet. We have had a two month drought and the ground was rock hard in spots. Most posts went right in, but if I felt like the foot step was bending too much, I tapped it in with a mallet. I found they went in pretty slick by doing that. These are not really a permanent solution for a fence. For a more permanent solution, or if you have animals that may push or run into your fence, use wood posts or metal T-posts. These work great for installing around a garden to keep out the critters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy and attractive I bought these to rope off a party area. Easy to install and attractive with color matching chord.
Date published: 2018-08-11
Rated 3 out of 5 by from easy to use I like them because they are easy to use , They will not hold up to any stress. They will snap just above the metal spike if there is too much pressure on the line you are using . I have to use a metal stake where ever there is going to be any stress.

Asked by: nurse honeybear
It depends upon the type of fencing, purpose of the fence, contour of the yard and whether its a straight fence or if it is angular. Generally, we recommend using posts every 6-8 feet. So if you put a post every 7ft on a straight 100ft fence you will need roughly 14 posts.
