Perfect for what we need

I don’t understand why some are complaining about the smell when you open the box because it’s basically the strong smell of cedar. I think the only complaint that I would have is in the manual to put it together, everything is labeled but not on the actual parts itself. Other than that putting it together was easy, but it’s definitely easier with someone helping you.
It’s a cute and functional indoor cage for what we need. It’s not for outside use unless you’re going to put it under a patio or some sort of shelter to protect it from the elements.

Ok but not suitable for outdoor

Using this as a daytime outdoor enclosure for a couple doves and it works well, but it is definitely not built for outdoor use over time. We’ve only had it for a few weeks and wood is already warping. I plan to put a coat of waterproofing sealant on it but I think it really should be advertised as an indoor hutch. Also the pan on the bottom (which catches rain because of the wire roof over half) does not have drainage so it just holds a puddle of water - also an argument for indoor use. Otherwise it is fine and functional. Easy to put together.

My bunny loves his new home. It was easy to put together & provides my 4 year old lopearred bunny plenty of room.
The only drawback is the wire sides are a little hard to put the water bottle but it is still doable.
Highly recommend!!

This is a wonderful hutch for our rabbit. It is easy for our bunny to go from the top to the bottom, she loves the stairs. It is easy to clean since the bottoms slide out, and you can keep the bunny in either side while you clean the other. We really love it

I purchased this for a newly hatched Amercauna chick. When it first arrived and I took it out of the box, I was concerned about the strong smell. It was a strong 'cedar like' smell. According to the specs it is fir wood. I put it together (which was really easy) and left it out on my front porch with a fan on it overnight. The smell was much less the next day. It is very functional. The large tray at the bottom slides out easily for cleaning as does the tray for the top hutch. The ramp hoses off easily. I am very happy with it. I am currently using it indoors. Not sure how predator proof it would be outdoors.

Good quality rabbit hutch with all parts well packaged ensuring a safe delivery. Easy-to-follow instructions were much appreciated. As were the extra screws, I did drop and lose a couple during construction.

Easy to clean & doesn't leak.
I did change the ramp to 2 steps. Our bunny prefers to hop and wasn't wild about ramp. (Maybe an option/accessory that could be offered?)
