Rated 2 out of 5 by from Flimsy Over all its decent i guess for a store bought house. I was just shocked at how flimsy the cage was. I had to reinforce the ladder and a few other areas. You will need to do the same if you plan on moving the cage around ever few weeks or it will break.

Will the rabbit eat the wood that the hutch is made of?

Asked by: Lucymae
Per Advantek, "Rabbits will chew anything and everything. However, as long as they are given proper items to chew they will avoid the wood."

Could I keep one chicken in it?

Asked by: emyd
Hi There: While designed for Rabbits, The Stilt House has turned into a home for other animals by our customers. Just keep in mind there is no roosting bar or designated nesting box for a chicken.

I have two questions. My first question is for the little hole for the rabbits to go out in the little play area. Is their something to close it up for the night. Or would I need to add a little door to lock it up. Is it big enough for a velveteen lop?

Asked by: RabbitLover27
Hi There: There is not a door from the house to the run area. If you wanted to close that up you would need to add a door. Yes, a velveteen lop should be just fine.
