Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only Food My Finicky Cat Will Eat! My dumpster rescue kitten was very finicky. This was recommended to me to try and she finally would eat! I don't like the new shape of the food (x-shaped) as well as the original small pellets. The cat is a MUCH messier eater when crunching the new kibble.

Is this food rotational? I like to give my cats a little bit of variety.

Asked by: Pg1955
We do not recommend switching formulas quickly as it can cause digestive upset in some cats. We always suggest a gradual transition to another food for this reason. With that being said, the consumer would know her cat best as would her vet and they would know if the cat’s digestion can handle switching foods quickly.

Has the formula for this product changed in any way recently. Say since around late last year. I last bought bags in Nov. and today I bought 2 bags and just opened one. It smells like grain based food not the fish based food that I know this smells like?
