    Honey Pecan Pie Recipe

    “Here is a recipe for pecan pie that you will love,” writes Clara Ramsey. “It is not too sweet and sugary like most pecan pies, and it is beautiful. You will be proud of it.”

    Ingredients

    Honey Pecan Pie

    • 3 eggs
    • 1 cup pecans, chopped
    • 1 cup light corn syrup
    • ½ cup sugar
    • ¼ cup brown sugar, packed
    • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    • 1 tsp. vanilla
    • ½ tsp. salt

    Topping

    • 2 Tbsp. butter
    • â…“ cup brown sugar, packed
    • 2 Tbsp. honey
    • 1½ cups pecan halves

    Directions

    Honey Pecan Pie

    Combine ingredients and pour in deep 9-inch unbaked piecrust. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

    Topping

    In small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar and honey until combined. Stir in pecan halves until coated. Spoon over pie. Bake 15-20 minutes longer until bubbly and golden. Cool completely. Refrigerate leftovers.
