    Crunch Wild Rice Salad

    “My family enjoys this as a different and refreshing salad,” writes Deanna Jones, of Mound Valley, KS. “When I take it to dinners, someone always asks for the recipe.”

    Ingredients

    • 1 6-oz. package long-grain and wild rice mix
    • 1 10-oz. package frozen peas, thawed or fresh
    • 1 cup celery, fresh or frozen, chopped
    •  cup green bell peppers, fresh or frozen, chopped
    • 5 green onions, fresh or frozen, chopped ½ cup Ranch dressing
    • 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese

    Directions

    Cook rice according to package directions. Stir in peas and let Cool. Combine celery and next three ingredients. Pour over rice mixture and gently stir. Cover and chill for at least 4 hours. Stir in cheese just before serving.
