    Crock-pot West Texas Cheeseburger Casserole

    When a recipe has tater tots, like this dish from C.J., you know it will be in regular demand with the kids.

    Ingredients

    • 2 cups frozen Tater Tots
    • Salt and pepper, to taste
    • 1 lb. ground beef, browned and seasoned
    • ½ cup chopped green chilis
    • 1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
    • 1 can evaporated milk
    • 1 large onion, diced
    • 2 cups Colby jack cheese, grated

    Directions

    Layer tater tots, season with salt and pepper, then layer beef, green chilies, soup, milk, onion, and top with cheese. Cook on low 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours.

    Serves 8-10.
