    Chunky Guacamole Snack Recipe

    Leah loves avocados, so she was eager to try this guacamole recipe several years ago when a friend gave it to her. "It's a special treat for me, and it’s kind of a healthy treat," she says.

    Ingredients

    • 2 medium plum tomatoes, finely chopped
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 2 Tbsp. lime juice
    • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
    • ¼ tsp. salt
    •  tsp. ground black pepper
    • 2 ripe avocados, seeded, peeled, and coarsely mashed
    • ¼ cup snipped fresh cilantro
    • Tortilla chips

    Directions

    In a bowl, combine tomatoes, red onion, garlic, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Gently stir in avocados and cilantro. Cover and chill 1 hour. Serve with tortilla chips.
