    Chocolate Delight

    Kathy Verseman, of Greensburg, Ind., gets our vote for the most unconventional crock-pot recipe. "It smells great as it cooks," she writes. "This is wonderful served warm with vanilla ice cream. Also great to drizzle a little chocolate syrup and top with toasted pecan pieces."

    Ingredients

    • Nonstick cooking spray
    • 1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
    • 1 cup sour cream
    • 1 cup chocolate chips
    • 1 cup water
    • 4 eggs
    • ¾ cup vegetable oil
    • 1 pkg. 4-serving instant chocolate pudding

    Directions

    Spray the crock-pot with nonstick cooking spray. Combine the cake mix, sour cream, chocolate chips, water, eggs, oil, and pudding mix. Make sure to mix well but do not overmix. Pour into crock-pot. Cover and set to cook on low for 6 -7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

    Serves 8-10.
