    Broccoli Cranberry Salad

    Ingredients

    Salad:

    • 5 cups broccoli
    • ½ cup chopped onion
    • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
    • 1 cup of cooked and crumbled bacon pieces
    • 1 cup salted sunflower kernels
    • 1 cup craisins (dried cranberries)

    Dressing:

    • 1 cup low-fat salad dressing of your choice
    • ½ cup sugar
    • 2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
    • ½ tsp. salt
    • ¼ tsp. pepper

    Directions

    Combine all salad ingredients in a large bowl. Combine dressing ingredients in a small bowl and whisk and until thoroughly combined. Pour dressing over salad and mix well, coating all salad ingredients. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour before serving.
