    Baked Salmon and Asparagus Recipe

    Erica makes this dish for her family at least once a week. "Even our kids love it and ask for seconds! It's delicious, simple, and healthy, too," she writes.


    • 2 unbreaded salmon fillets
    • Asparagus stalks
    • 1 stick melted butter or margarine
    • 1 tsp. black pepper
    • 1 tsp. garlic salt
    • 1 Tbsp. garlic flakes
    • 1 lemon
    • 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes


    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place salmon fillets in a 9x13-inch no-stick sprayed pan. Lay asparagus stalks in pan around fillets. Brush melted butter or margarine generously over entire dish. Sprinkle on black pepper, garlic salt, and garlic flakes. Squeeze entire lemon over salmon and top it all off with parsley flakes. Place in the oven and check every 5 minutes for 12-15 minutes until salmon is dark pink to slightly golden on the outside, opaque inside, and asparagus is tender. Remove when cooked and serve immediately over your favorite rice and with some fresh sliced tomatoes on the side.
