    Nice Saw

"I have used much more expensive chainsaws, and they have nothing on this Earth Quake 16". It is very light and plenty of power. Saw started up and idles perfectly. Used for only about 2-3 hours so far and went through 12" oaks like butter. It is made of mostly plastic which in terms of build quality might not be up to the Stihl or Husky quality, but for the price I could buy two for the price of one similar sized Husky. Time will tell how it holds up, but so far it is a really nice saw for the price."

    beast

"I owned a poulan predator saw for 5 years. It finally died. I bought this saw because I needed a larger saw and wanted a semi pro saw. this saw cuts like a beast. I cut a 20 inch oak that has been down for 3 years. The wood is dry and hard. the saw eat through it like it was soft pine."

    5 StarsKroxoid Poulan Pro 5020

"I was impressed with the ruggedness of the motor casing on this saw, really beefy - should be able to dish out some real work. I filled the oil and fuel tanks and the engine fired right up just as described bt the instructions. Quickly removed a 20 foot cedar from my yard, delimbed, and cut the trunk up for fire wood. I would buy this saw again - really trouble free for the novice."

"Pretty good saw for the money. Took it out of the box, filled with oil & gas, primed bulb , pulled choke out and it fired on the fourth pull. Not to crazy about the scrwench that comes with it, handle is too short and it hurts my hand with the screw driver end. Cut good also, felled two sweet gum trees with it and it had no problem doing it."

Light, reliable, great power for size cold blooded

"Bought this to replace a Husky 455, less power, lighter, but it has been all I needed and more. In a little over a month I have felled and processed about ten cord of firewood around the farm, still amazed by how well this little guy gets it done. In below 20 weather, it does need to idle a while before it will run well. Once it is warmed up it starts and stops like a dream. Highly recommended for firewood cutting and fencerow cleaning. "

    5 StarsBobbylight Great little saw

"Like the light weight of it cuts really good for a smaller saw starts very easily anyone looking for a light weight saw that will perform get this one "

5 Starsmbrouw This is an excellent tool…

"Returned a DIFFERENT BRAND saw because it continually leaked bar oil. Decided to spend the difference for the Jonsered and have been very pleased. Followed all starting directions and it fired right up. Next day it was not so easy to start, but that could have been user error?! I cleaned a wet plug and the saw fired right up. Since it has started and run like a champ every time. The bar and chain are excellent. The power is more than adequate for my use .. thinning small to medium pine trees and limbing. The general feel of the product is 'quality'. I feel this unit will deliver good service for a long time."

5 Stars10Wolf Just bought another one

"This is my second review and my second 2245 saw. My second saw is the new 2013 model. I like the newer model better if you can get your hands on the carburetor adjusting tool. At first I did not like the choke system. I was a bit too quick to judge on that. The choke can be positioned like what I wanted, just didn't' realize it at first.

"Now that I have used the saw for a while, it is my favorite saw that I have ever used! It is about the same size as my old Poulan, maybe a little smaller. The CS 2245 has much more power than my old Poulan. It also has much higher rpm.

"I underestimated the 2245, this saw is the whoop!

"Heck, I may even buy a third one!"

    Awesome machine

"Strike that this is not a machine it is an instrument! Starts and runs very easily the compression release is great. Absolutely no vibration and cuts 24 inch oak in seconds like a hot knife through butter. I was considering Stihl and Husky but very glad I chose this saw. In New England it is the overwhelming choice of the professional loggers and now I know why."

    4 Starswgreene355 Monster of a saw!

"This saw is a monster when it comes to cutting trees. We were able to dispatch with a very large "rubber tree" here in southern FL in about half the time expected. Sawing the tree up required little effort with this monster; it pumped out sawdust faster than a snow machine produces snow. At the base, this tree was about 30 inches in diameter and full of drop roots for which these trees are famous. The only drawback, and it is slight - hard to crank when cold. Definitely recommend this saw for tough jobs requiring much vibration-free cutting energy."

5 StarsMNWoodCutter My CS 2255 does the job for me..

"Most people who write a review are the ones who have or had problems with the product so we never hear about the 90% who are happy with the product and or the dealer.

"My old Jonsered chainsaw is around 25 to 30 years old and still does a great job for me but being that I heat with wood and cut on others land and could be many miles away from home at the time, I wanted a good back-up saw. At the time I was looking at the Husky and happened to see that TSC was now selling the Jonsered line. Knowing that the Husky Line is the same as the Jonsered, I decided on the Jonsered CS 2255 because of the dealer and I know the name TSC is a name I can trust to be there if I had a problem.

"I might be what is called the average homeowner but when I cut wood, I might cut something like 4 or 5 full cords on any weekend and on an average of 15 to 20 cull cords per year. Most of my wood is Oak and many of the trees are 24 to 30 inches in dia. While I might buck up the tree, I’m also clearing trails, cutting limbs and what ever it takes to remove the tree from the woods. On an average day, I might go through 5 gals of mixed gas. I might cut when it’s 85 above or it might even be -15 below. I wasn’t sure that the CS 2255 would fit the bill but once I started using this saw, I never went back to using the older Jonsered. The 2255 is much lighter, easy to start and enough power to do the job. What I really liked about the Jonsered line is the Anti –Vib; when you cut for something like 6 to 8 hours, this feature is a plus and the way the saw feels in your hands lets you know you made the right purchase. This saw has done everything that I would expect from a pro saw. I’ve gone through something like 12 gallons of fuel this summer and never had a problem. Would I purchase another one? YES!! Would I buy from my TSC dealer again? YES!! The guys in Elk River, Minnesota TSC know their products, but most of all they treat everyone like they are family. Thanks TSC!!!!"

"Got this saw after owning the (equivalent?) model saw in a Stihl farm boss. In my opinion this saw is more professionally built and hands down easier to start. It also smokes my old stihl when it comes down to cutting no contest. its good on gas and the low emissions is nice for our environment too."
