Important Information

  • Poultry orders will ship Monday through Wednesday of each week.
  • The order will be delivered to your local Post Office for pick up. This is based on your zip code.
  • Your local Post Office will call you upon delivery at the phone number provided when placing your order.
  • The cost for shipping is included in the price of the birds.
  • It is your responsibility to pick them up at the post office within 24 hours.
  • Live Chicks, Ducks and Turkeys are available for online purchase in quantities of 10.
    • (Example: Quantity of 1 = 10 Birds / Quantity of 2 = 20 Birds, etc.)

The Ship-To-Store delivery method ships orders to a Tractor Supply store chosen by the customer for pick-up at the store. Ship-To-Store orders are usually available to pickup within 5 to 7 days of receiving the order confirmation. Orders not picked up or claimed within 45 days of the order date will be automatically returned. A credit for the order total, less a 10% restocking fee in some cases, will be issued to the credit card originally used to place the order, or a company issued bank check for gift card order is given. A government issued photo ID is required to pick-up the order. The person picking up the order must match the name of the person designated to pick up the order when the order was placed.

Shipments via Common Carrier Freight Truck

    Delivery:

  • Orders meeting or exceeding LTL criteria will be converted to ship over the road via a common carrier freight trailer truck.
  • Your order will be delivered to the ground level exterior of your home.
  • The carrier will contact you prior to delivery to confirm appointment and accessibility.
  • Someone 18 years or older must be present to inspect and sign for the delivery.
  • Delivery may not be available to all types of addresses.
  • Returns:

  • Call our Customer Solutions Center at 1-877-718-6750 (Option 2, then Option 3) to arrange the return for order that was delivered via Common Carrier Freight Truck.
  • Depending on the reason for the return, restocking fees may apply, original shipping may not be returned and return shipping may be charged.

  • Customer understands that failure to comply with provisions of applicable tax laws and regulations may result in an assessment of state and local taxes as well as penalty and interest.
  • Customer agrees to assist Tractor Supply with respect to sales and use tax or excise tax audits to the extent the exempt status of Customer or a transaction involving Customer is at issue in any such audit.
