I love the fact that it is removable. I don't use the hood all the time and I can get it out of the way. I use fall pertection and the hood can get in the way at times.

fits the snaps on your carhartt jacket and is warm and waterproof and its not just for men .it will keep a womans head warm also. its for if u have hair or not.

I purchased this hood to fit my Carhartt Extreme Arctic quilted winter coat and I'm glad. The hood easily attaches to the coat, it is very comfortable and warm. The material is not only very light and warm but extremely tuff and durable. I would advise anyone who is buying the coat to order this hood, you will thank me.
