My husband wears these day in/day out. He's on his feet on cement all day and they seem to absorb the hard floor. He has to break them in for a few weeks or so because they fit pretty tight when he first gets them (fit D). They last a year or little longer before the sole breaks apart, so it's nice not to have to replace boots more than once a year.
Seem pretty water proof, (but that could be part of the oil and greese he gets on them during his work day). Wolverines hold up longer and his feet don't ache as bad as the others at the end of the day.
I would recommend these, but you may need to break them in before you go a week in them.
