A great birdfeeder
Date:February 1, 2012
I purchased this birdfeeder because no one bought it for me for Christmas. I absolutely LOVE it. I filled it with sunflower seeds and hung it in a tree at our camp. The last time I was there, the feeder was covered in finches. Great feeder ! ! ! I am going to purchase another one when Tractor Supply gets a new shipment in.

bad design
Date:May 24, 2011
The double wild bird feeder is a bad design. The lower half is fine, since the shape allows the seed down below to hold the seed above. However, the upper portion wire mesh slants the other way and the seed falls out, making a mess and losing seed everytime you fill it and/or move it. If they had designed it whereas the top section mimicked the lower section, it would have been fine.

A Great Purchase!
Date:March 5, 2011
After several years of searching for a feeder that would keep the squirrels and raccoons out, I saw this feeder on the website. It looked like it would be better than any I tried before and it definitely is! No more wasted seed and broken feeders because of the squirrels and raccoons. I would recommend this design for anyone who's serious about feeding the birds. It can hold several birds at once and looks very pretty too. When you spend a lot of money on birdseed, it's very nice to see that it gets eaten only by the birds. I bought one of these during the winter months so there was a good variety of birds using it, from the little chickadees to the larger red-wing blackbirds.
