My reiew of the "Metal Man" helmet
Date:November 12, 2011
I bought this helmet about a year or two ago, I use it just about everyday and some days for 6-8 hours a day. I got flashed one time while GTAW(tig) welding and that was only because I was trying to get into a tight spot and had both hands in front of the sensors. I buy the packs of plastic lenses and cut them to fit so no problems there. I am going to buy another to use strictly for SMAW(stick). This helmet also works great for GMAW(mig). Comfortable and light, this is an excellent helmet for the money.

Wish I never bought this helmet! I get flashed all the time called the company but it was over a year old and they would not do anything! And good luck finding replacement lens. Back to my old helmet for now.

Best helmet for the buck
Date:December 29, 2010
I looked all over for a cheap(er) welding helmet that had the specs I liked. This helmet fit my budget and boy did it have the specs. You won't find a better helmet for the price. It is SUPER comfortable and works like a charm. I couldn't tell you anything I would change about it.
